Just take Moscow hosting the Russia-Africa summit in late July, then Beijing, with Xi in person, spending a day last week in Johannesburg with dozens of African leaders, all of them part of the new Non-Aligned Movement (NAM): the G77 (actually 134 nations), presided by a Cuban, President Diaz-Canel… That’s the Russia-China Double Helix in effect – offering large swathes of the “Global Globe” security and high-tech infrastructure (Russia) and finance, manufactured exports and road and rail infrastructure (China)… In this context, a BRICS currency is not necessary. Prof. Hudson crucially quotes President Putin: what’s needed is a “means of settlement” for Central Banks for their balance of payments, to keep in check imbalances in trade and investment. That has nothing to do with a BRICS gold-backed supra-national currency… Moreover, there will be no need for a new reserve currency as increasingly more nations will be ditching the U.S. dollar in their settlements… Poisons, viruses, microchips – And that bring us full circle back to the New Great Game: NATOstan versus the Multipolar World. No matter the evidence provided by graphic reality, NATOstan in advanced seppuku mode – especially the European sector – actually believes it will win the war against Russia-China… As for the Global South/Global Majority/”Global Globe”, they are regarded as enemies. Chris Stark, head of the CCC, wants ordinary citizens to turn off their electric heaters (heat pumps) at night as part of a wider drive to deliver “emissions savings,” which includes a shift away from gas boilers – which Chris, a hypocrite, still has… Contained in a document on “behavior change,” the CCC recommended that Britons instead “pre-heat” their houses in the afternoons when electricity use is lower, and would theoretically save families money. – ‘There is significant potential to deliver emissions savings, just by changing the way we use our homes,’ reads the CCC’s sixth “carbon budget” paper, which lays out how the UK should reduce its emissions between 2033-37… “Where homes are sufficiently well insulated, it is possible to pre-heat ahead of peak times, enabling access to cheaper tariffs which reflect the reduced costs associated with running networks and producing power during off-peak times.” – Critics boil – ‘The grid is already creaking and daft ideas like this show just how much worse it will become,’ Andrew Montford, the director of Net Zero Watch, told The Telegraph. ‘It’s clear that renewables are a disaster in the making. We now need political leaders with the courage to admit it.’ – And according to Tory MP Craig Mackinlay, head of his party’s Net Zero Scrutiny group, ‘It is becoming clear that adherence to judicable Carbon Budgets and edicts coming from the CCC are developing into farce.’ – ‘The Climate Change Act 2008 will require amendment to free us from madcap and impractical targets foisted upon the population by long departed politicians… ‘This latest advice to freeze ourselves on cold evenings merely shows the truth that the dream of plentiful and cheap renewable energy is a sham… ‘I came into politics to improve all aspects of my constituents’ lives, not make them colder and poorer,’ he told The Telegraph…. Lower bills?… The CCC insists that following the advice means ‘homes will still be warm, but bills can be lowered,’ adding ‘This is a demonstration of homeowners benefiting from periods of the day when electricity is cheaper.’ – ‘Using electricity to heat a home opens the prospect of choosing a time when prices are lower, something that’s not possible with a gas boiler,’ he continued, adding ‘Smart heating of homes like this also makes the best possible use of the grid and supports greater use of cheap renewable generation.’ – The advice follows a furore over Government plans to ban the installation of new oil powered boilers from 2026 and force homes into adopting heat pumps.”

Secret government agencies. Surveillance. Censorship. Intimidation. Harassment. Torture. Brutality. Widespread corruption. Entrapment. Indoctrination. Indefinite detention…These are not tactics used by constitutional republics, where the rule of law and the rights of the citizenry reign supreme. Rather, they are the hallmarks of authoritarian regimes, where secret police control the populace through intimidation, fear and official lawlessness on the part of government agents… That authoritarian danger is now posed by the FBI, whose love affair with totalitarianism began long ago. What they have done is appear to be acting suspiciously to a town sheriff, a traffic cop or even a neighbor.’ The FBI’s burgeoning databases on Americans are not only being added to and used by local police agencies, but are also being made available to employers for real-time background checks… All of this is made possible by the agency’s nearly unlimited resources (President Biden’s budget projections allocate $10.8 billion for the FBI), the government’s vast arsenal of technology, the interconnectedness of government intelligence agencies, and information sharing through fusion centers—data collecting intelligence agencies spread throughout the country that constantly monitor communications (including those of American citizens), everything from internet activity and web searches to text messages, phone calls and emails… Much like the Gestapo spied on mail and phone calls, FBI agents have carte blanche access to the citizenry’s most personal information… Working through the U.S. Post Office, the FBI has access to every piece of mail that passes through the postal system: more than 160 billion pieces are scanned and recorded annually. Moreover, the agency’s National Security Letters, one of the many illicit powers authorized by the USA Patriot Act, allows the FBI to secretly demand that banks, phone companies, and other businesses provide them with customer information and not disclose those demands to the customer. An internal audit of the agency found that the FBI practice of issuing tens of thousands of NSLs every year for sensitive information such as phone and financial records, often in non-emergency cases, is riddled with widespread constitutional violations… Much like the Gestapo’s sophisticated surveillance programs, the FBI’s spying capabilities can delve into Americans’ most intimate details (and allow local police to do so, as well)… In addition to technology (which is shared with police agencies) that allows them to listen in on phone calls, read emails and text messages, and monitor web activities, the FBI’s surveillance boasts an invasive collection of spy tools ranging from Stingray devices that can track the location of cell phones to Triggerfish devices which allow agents to eavesdrop on phone calls. In one case, the FBI actually managed to remotely reprogram a “suspect’s” wireless internet card so that it would send “real-time cell-site location data to Verizon, which forwarded the data to the FBI.” Law enforcement agencies are also using social media tracking software to monitor Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts. Moreover, secret FBI rules also allow agents to spy on journalists without significant judicial oversight.”

And permanent suspensions, which were promised to be reserved for unlawful speech only, have made a big comeback… Now, Twitter (“X”) is taking further action by making undesirable videos unplayable.What type of videos in particular? Well, mine… I recently uploaded a video of Democratic Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that garnered over 500,000 views. The post and the text stayed up, but the video was taken down. Had the video not been taken down, the post could have seen a million views or more… Users also reported X was “blocking” them from retweeting. Now, that’s something reminiscent of 2021 and early 2022 — BEFORE Elon took over the platform. So, this is concerning… So, what did Robert Kennedy Jr. say that crossed the line?The video was a clip of RFK Jr. breaking down the Pfizer clinical trials with podcast host Brian Rose. And what he exposed, according to Pfizer’s own data, was that people who received Pfizer’s COVID vaccine showed a 23.5% GREATER likelihood of dying than the placebo group after six months… Here’s the full breakdown, per Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.: (Video on Vigilant Fox Substack – (5 min)… In the Pfizer clinical trials, they gave 22,000 people two COVID injections and 22,000 people fake vaccines… Of the 44,000 in total, one person died of COVID in the vaccine group, and two people died of COVID in the placebo group. So Pfizer, with the misleading measure of relative risk reduction, called their vaccine “100% effective” because two is 100% greater than one. But from the angle of absolute risk, it took 22,000 vaccines to save just one life from COVID… And over a 6-month period, 21 of the vaccinated people died of all causes, whereas only 17 people died in the placebo group, a 23.5% difference… So, what was killing those people in the vaccine group? – ‘It was cardiac arrest,’ answered Kennedy.”

The CTA event was billed as the ‘2021 LGBTQ+ Issues Conference, Beyond the Binary: Identity & Imagining Possibilities.’ The two teachers were later suspended and no longer work in the district… ‘It’s a massive victory across America for myself, for my daughter, and for other parents experiencing similar situations,’ she said. ‘Our voices made a difference.’ – While she is grateful to the Center for American Liberty for taking on the pro-bono case, she said the battle for parental rights has only begun… ‘I just feel social transitioning done in secrecy is the real evil. We need to get rid of it, period. So, the fight must continue,’ she said… Her daughter, Alicia Konen, who is now 16, echoed her mom’s sentiments, saying she’s ready to put the experience, which she described as “evil” and “horrible,” behind her… According to the Center for American Liberty and allegations in the lawsuit, Alicia was recruited to join an “Equality Club,” where she was taught about bisexuality, transgender identities, and other LGBT concepts when she was in the sixth grade… Alicia began to use a male name and pronouns and wore a chest binder under boy’s clothes… School staff finally called a meeting the last day before winter break during Alicia’s seventh grade year and demanded that Ms. Konen refer to her daughter by a male name and male pronouns, she said… ‘I was definitely intimidated,’ she said… Ms. Konen recalls feeling awkward and stressed when she was tagging Alicia’s Christmas gifts… She wanted to be supportive to her daughter but wasn’t ready to call her by a male name and pronouns, so she wrote “Baby” and “Sweetheart” instead… ‘I was an emotional wreck trying to process everything. I was scared to mess up or to use the wrong pronouns,’ she said. ‘I never used the male pronouns, and I never used the name.’.. Yet a court ruling in mid-August has sided with publishers’ commercial interests to disallow non-profit organisations from lending books… But there’s a significant catch – the protections afforded to the Internet Archive and all libraries under the first sale doctrine. The Internet Archive intend to appeal the court’s decision… The lawsuit hinges on the question of whether e-books are books, subject to the existing laws governing the sale of books, or whether the publishers can redefine e-books as temporary, rental-only media – a new class of unownable goods, like streaming-only films from Disney or subscription-only software from Microsoft. But libraries must have the option to buy and own their books – all their books, including e-books – and own them absolutely… This threat to the ownership of books is what makes the ongoing publishers’ lawsuit against the Internet Archive politically dangerous and in an altogether different way from earlier challenges and amendments to copyright law. At a time of increasing book bannings and attacks on libraries, public schools and universities, it is not safe for democracy, or for our cultural posterity, to leave an “on/off” switch for library books in the hands of corporate publishers… In the summer of 2020, Hachette, Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, and Wiley accused the Internet Archive of “mass-scale copyright infringement” because of the way the Internet Archive’s Open Library loans its e-books to patrons. Koeltl sided with the publishers against the Internet Archive. Internet Archive, thus bringing the lower court proceedings to a close. We disagree with the court’s decision and intend to appeal. In the meantime, however, we will abide by the court’s injunction,’ The Internet Archive said… For now, the Open Library will have to stop loaning only those e-books for which the publishers are offering their own “competing” e-books for licence. In other words, the order relies solely on the argument that the Open Library is harming the publishers’ revenues from e-books, a distinction that seems to go to the heart of the dispute… If publishers’ e-book revenues are protected by the extant provisions of copyright law protecting rights holders, then, presumably, readers and libraries should also be protected. The Internet Archive, and all libraries, should have the same protections under the first sale doctrine that have always allowed them to preserve and lend books to readers… Free societies thrive in a global culture preserved over centuries, a mega culture that today spans a deeply interconnected world by means of the Internet. It’s a worldwide palimpsest of all we can read, hear, see, learn, and experience together, every day. The biggest benefactors and guardians of this mega culture are non-profit libraries, repositories and archives like Wikipedia and the Internet Archive. The recent BRICS conference might give Nuland even more to fret about… When US Acting Deputy Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, traveled to South Africa on July 29, her reputation as a blunt instrument of Washington’s hegemonic interests preceded her… According to a veteran South African official who attended meetings with the senior US diplomat in Pretoria, however, Nuland and her team were demonstrably unprepared to grapple with recent developments on the African continent — particularly the military coup that removed Niger’s pro-Western government hours before she launched her multi-stop tour of the region… ‘In over 20 years working with the Americans, I have never seen them so desperate,’ the official told The Grayzone, speaking on the condition of anonymity… Pretoria was well aware of Nuland’s hawkish reputation, but when she arrived in Pretoria, the official described her as “totally caught off guard” by winds of change engulfing the region. The July putsch that saw a popular military junta come to power in Niger followed military coups in Mali and Burkina Faso that were similarly inspired by mass anti-colonial sentiment… Though Washington has so far refused to characterize developments in the Nigerien capital of Niamey as a coup, the South African source confirmed that Nuland sought South Africa’s assistance in responding to regional conflicts, including in Niger, where she emphasized that Washington not only held significant financial investments, but also maintained 1,000 of its own troops. For Nuland, the realization that she was negotiating from a position of weakness was likely a rude awakening… Serving both parties and advancing empire, one regime change op at a time.. Throughout the past decade and a half, Victoria Nuland has established herself as one of the most heavy-handed – and effective – agents of Western-directed regime change ops within the State Department. As the wife of the arch-neoconservative strategist, Robert Kagan, who advised both Republican presidential contender, Mitt Romney, and Democrat, Hillary Clinton, Nuland embodied the interventionist consensus that prevailed across both parties in the pre-Trump era. When covid tangled up the supply chains, suddenly there were massive shortages of the most needed products, including semiconductors. So that was a wakeup call… In addition, as trade relations between the US and China have soured, companies are seeing new risks in being dependent on China… Factory construction spending’s share of total nonresidential construction spending has doubled over the past two years, from a share of 8.9% in July 2021, which was roughly in line with the years before the pandemic, to a share of 17.4% in July 2023.
